educational programs,
and a rapidly expanding resident research program.
MDIBL invites applications for independent faculty positions
at the assistant,
associate and full professor level. Candidates should have
a research program

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. A strong record
of continuous
research productivity and either active funding or clearly
demonstrated potential
for funding are essential. MDIBL faculty are provided at least
80% protected time
for development and maintenance of their independent, externally
funded research
program. Faculty also participate in developing and implementing
research training
programs at MDIBL for undergraduate, graduate, and medical
students, medical
fellows, and established scientists. A strong sense of collegiality
and collaboration
is essential. Start-up packages and salary are highly competitive
and commensurate
with current rank and experience. Successful candidates will
have full-time
appointments in the MDIBL Center for Regenerative Biology and
Medicine and/or
the Morris Center for Environmental Health Sciences, and adjunct
appointments at
neighboring academic research institutions.
